Multitone Electronics has announced the promotion of Michael Moulden to a new role at the firm – head of hardware development.

Michael said: “My appointment as head of hardware development represents a significant and personally fulfilling milestone in my career trajectory.

“Creating critically important devices was a key factor in deciding to apply originally for the role at Multitone, and I am excited at the prospect of embarking on this next important stage in my career.

“It’s energising to be part of such a knowledgeable and dedicated team, each of whom is passionate about the work they do.”

Multitone Electronics was founded almost 100 years ago as a manufacturer of hearing aids, with customers including Winston Churchill.

Pioneers of wireless messaging, they now provide integrated communications systems for on-site or global usage.

CEO Ed Paterson added: “I’m delighted that Michael has chosen to progress his career here as a valuable member of the Multitone team.

“It’s an exciting time for the company as we develop new solutions in the field of critical communications and expand our market horizons.

“Michael’s skills in mechanical design and his professional, methodical approach will help us in the years ahead.”
