Dixon’s wholly owned subsidiary- Padget Electronics Private Limited has entered into a Contract Manufacturing Agreement with Compal Smart Device India Private Limited (“Compal”) to carry out manufacturing of mobile phones for Compal and its designated customers.
Commenting on this association, Mr. Atul B. Lall, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Dixon Technologies (India) Limited said, “It gives us an immense pleasure to partner with a global leader of technological products ‘Compal’ for manufacturing of mobile phones. This association will give a strong impetus to India’s manufacturing competitiveness. Compal is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of notebook, PCs, smart devices, data center equipment and LCD products with world class R&D, manufacturing and supply chain management. We are ecstatic and encouraged by the trust they have reposed on Dixon group for the proposed association and believe that this association will leverage our excellence, superior execution track record and it represents a major milestone in Indian Government’s “Make in India” initiative.”
Shares of Dixon Technologies (India) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 6866.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 6771.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7035 in over 1511 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 6924.00 and intraday low of 6733.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 48007923.00.
